Child at risk and its family

The bachelor thesis is conveived as theoretical work. It consists of several parts describing social work with family and child at risk. It is focused especially on the social and legal protection of children. Mentioned social work with family and children at risk is higly important in their social and legal protection. It deals with concept of family followed by definition of the whole thing, its structure, functions and last but not least it deals with various types of families. Submitted thesis provides a definition of endangered child including all possible threats. Deals with causes of those threats and represents legal provision. Then it characterizes individual types of social and legal protection of children, various institutions and people in charge of this work. Thesis defines rights and duties of executive authorities and provides a view on several patterns as the evaluation of child at risk may look like. It contains multidisciplinary cooperation and its use. The conclusion is devoted to possible solutions of emergeny situations affecting either children or the whole families. Some of those solutions are completed with real life examples from author's experiences within work for social and legal protection of children authority and during the work in the social activation services for families with children.
Ethical aspects of assisted reproduction as a challenge to the social worker´s action

The thesis deals with the issue of assisted reproduction, the definition of methods and its ethical issues. It defines infertility as a medical but also social problem. It focuses on the principles of social work and describes its ethical nature. In this way, it links the medical problem with the social problem and emphasizes the need for multidisciplinary cooperation. The thesis draws attention to the human being as a patient in the process of assisted reproduction, compares the current situation in the Czech Republic with selected foreign practices and defines the possibilities of the social worker in health care and its importance. The work is shaped by theoretical background with emphasis on current health statistics supplemented by sources of foreign practice.
Teamwork at psychosomatic clinics in Bavaria: an inspiration to develop management in psychosomatic medicine in the Czech Republic

This thesis is focused on the organization of interdisciplinary teamwork in the field of psychosomatic medicine at specialized clinics in Bavaria. The main objective is to describe the system of organization and management of local teams and principles that constitute the teamwork in the psychosomatic field. The paper consists of two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with team and teamwork defintion, as well as its characteristics in health care and in multidisciplinary (interdisciplinary) teams with regard to the specifics of their management. Multidisciplinary teams and interprofessional cooperation is discussed in relation to the field of psychosomatic medicine. A summary of the current basis of psychosomatic medicine in the context of medical education, legislation and the health care system in the Federal Republic of Germany and the Czech Republic follows. The system of the field of psychosomatic medicine in Germany is one of the main reasons why the empirical part is focused on the German environment of psychosomatic practice. The results of this thesis bring a model of the teamwork at psychosomatic clinics in Bavaria, which the Czech environment can be inspired by in its concept and can build on the major discovered principles of teamwork. The best interest of a child in the context of biopsychosocial aspects of health

The rigorous work can be considered as a response to the issue of child health promotion, which is currently still focused mainly on somatic health, while there is a long-term deficit and underestimation of psychosocial health promotion. The systematically conceived theoretical part of the thesis is based on the existing health status of the population and presents the biopsychosocial concept of health and its legislative anchoring in relation to ensuring the best interests of the child. The work also includes reflections on health and illness as the ability to cope with life stress and maintain homeostasis. The fundamental concept is the recognition of a living organism as a self-regulatory system with the ability to create symptoms at all levels of existence. In the viewpoint of the rigorous work, symptomatology can be seen as a specific language that allows to find a way for the organism to stop producing the symptoms of the illness and to cure it. The thesis entirely respects current health services, which are extended to support the psychosocial aspects of health in such a way that its individual aspects are given comparable attention. The Role of Special educator in Pre-school education of Children with Autistic Disorders

Rigorosum thesis follows up the role of the special education teachers in pre-school learning of children with autism. It's based on the study of the professional literature, long term experience of the author who works as a teacher in kindergarten with special education classes, her cooperation with colleagues, parents and external specialists. Rigorosum thesis is divided into three parts. The first, theoretical part is defining the basic concepts and terms like autism, the personality of special education teacher, school education system, supportive measures, inclusion. The second part outlines the experience and knowledge of the author. It deals with team and multi-discipline co-operation, it is showing structured interviews with the specialists co-operating with the kindergarten teachers and participating on special education of children in the kindergarten where the author works. It also brings brief overview of pre-schooling system in Sweden, Finland and Georgia. The author draws on her experience from professional business trips abroad. The objective was to establish the essential ethical criteria for using the partnership approach and paternalism in social work with family on the example of the case conferences of Authority for Social and Legal Protection of Children and submit critical reflection of practice of conferences in light of ethical principles. Interventions of the Department of Social and Legal Protection of Children in Families Living in Socially Excluded Localities in Scope of the Town of Nýřany

In bachelor thesis called "Intervention of the social and legal protection of children in families living in excluded areas in the scope of municipal authority of Nýřany. Theoretical part is split into two chapters, the first is social exclusion where is the explanation of the concept of social exclusion. In the concept of social exclusion is out of site. I occupy groups most at risk of social exclusion. The second chapter provides information on social work. I´m describing the history of social work to the social problems in society. The position is defined in the applicable legislation and social worker in families with children in the worker of the social and legal protection of children excluded sites. The multidisciplinary cooperation and the most common themes multidisciplinary cooperation are the subject of other topic. Tour with the most used approaches to social work and to a case conference with the theoretical part. Beginning of the practical part is moving closer of history of the town of Nýřany that should help to understand the specific area. Are characterised by selected excluded sites covered by municipal authority of Nýřany. The information was created for research from women who live in the excluded areas and raise their children. Beyond the undergraduate work was interesting to get the views of the social workers in the locations they carry out their difficult job. We tried to compare files and information from both research and create a preview on their interaction and their views on the current situation.
Cochem practice

This thesis deals with Cochem practise as a new way of solving the situation of child renduring the break up or divorce of parents. The introductory chapters describe the history of Cochem practise, the gradual adoption of its principles in Germany and the Czech Republic. It also describes the multidisciplinary cooperation of individual actors of the Cochem model, namely judges, workers of social and legal protection of children, family counselors, mediators, lawyers and experts. In the second part the thesis deals with the proces of realizing Cochem practise at a specific work place of the department of autority child protection. The thesis deals with the progress of the individual members of the multidisciplinary team and with how parents respond to the new approach.

The family cure as a way to work with dysfunctional family in the City of Most

The theses is focused on the work with deprivated families with concentration on the method of family cure an its application in the City of Most. It is work which is based on combination of theoretical and empirical access to the problem which leads to proposal of practical application of the method in praxis. The document is structured in six chapters. The first chapter follows the term "family" as the basic cathegory of the issue. The second chapter deals with the theme of deprivated family, which represents the target group of the cure process. Besides the basic terms explanation this chapter includes also analysis of the present state of the work with family in our country and in some other european countries. The third chapter is already focused on the term family rescue. Besides of term definition it is concentrated on aims, processes and methods in use and on the legislative framework. The fourth chapter analyses situation in the field of family rescue method and its application in current system of work with deprivated families and introduces to reader modern methods promising for the future.
